John, I had typed a small novel describing my experience so
far with the dist/filter pedal..
about three hours of use. in lieu of the novel I'll just say that
you did a fantastic job on
this project! This pedal will be with me till the end, I can't get it
to sound shitty.
This smokes the keeley, the fulltone, the mesa v-twin,
the analogman ts-9. none of those have the
character, bite, versatility and definition of this pedal. I loved
the audio samples on your site,
but I knew I wanted something to make mine a different beast...
your decision to add the wah filter section was the blockbuster! that
added infinite possibilities.
Just thru the twin reverb and the
jc-120 split in stereo I'm amazed, not because I have this new pedal
and I'm in the honeymoon phase with it, but because I have been
enjoying the shit out of it for 3 hours
and I can close the book on this area of my tone.
I
think people would buy this pedal if they knew it existed.
This thing sounds better than the shit they sell for $300.00
and up,
including the $300.00
and up shit that belongs to me. I'm proud to own one...
I'm gonna take it to
guitar center and test it out on some amps.
Fantastic!!

State Variable Filter

Snake skin covered version!
John, You are a sick sick man...or a genius, I haven't
decided yet. Great job on the snake skin, looks killer!
I was in Tucson, about 100 miles from home when I opened it, got home
and hooked it up with the distortion pedal and then into the
solid state Roland jc-120 because I was too impatient to wait for the
tubes to warm up, and I'm floored! right out of the box it screams.
It sound mean as hell. I love the woof you get when you move the pedal,
I have a lot of good shit dude,
but I have never been this satisfied with something right out of the
box as I have been with these two badass creations,
they make me want to play. this shit breathes. You my
friend are a bad mother f!@%er!

The above pedals are both octave fuzzes
With the Neck pickup and the tone rolled off you can get a very
distinct Octave up.
Recorded with a 70's strat and a semi clean amp

Octave madness!

Fender Blender clone

This one is a moster!
A combonation of octave, fuzz, sustain and a very transparant thick
tone.
The blend control lets you blend the fuzz with the straight clean
guitar signal.
Depending on your picking strength, guitar volume and tone controls you
can get a number of
pseudo ring modulations and light fuzz octave tones.
Then crank it up and you can get very heavy and slugy rock tones a
plenty.
